Stuff for the Poor 2017 1262 071

The final count for shoes brought in for the "Stuff for the Poor" service project was 1,262 pairs of shoes. Stuff for the Poor is a non for profit organization that collects USED shoes to help the future of orphans living in Africa. The donated shoes are sold to raise money that then goes directly to pay for school fees and school supplies for the orphan children in Uganda, Aftica.

Although we are just a small community, as a group we can have a big impact on others and thanks to you we were once again able to meet and exceed our goal this year!

Mrs. O'Neil and her students greatly appreciate your generosity as they are the ones in charge of this effort! This is a yearly event so please remember us over the summer and help us out by continuing to collect shoes for this program.Remember that any type and any condition of shoes works so please donate if you can. Please help the less fortunate by bringing USED shoes to the donation box located at DLR.

Together, let's make a connection by helping out the less fortunate. Thanks!!
