Chaperones Needed for DLR Service Days
The seventh and eighth grade students of David L. Rahn Junior High in Mount Morris will be traveling to the ‘Feed My Starving Children’ facility in Aurora for their annual all day service project. The students help assembly food packets for distribution around the world. The eighth graders will be traveling to the facility on Thursday, September 26th and the seventh graders will be going the following day on Friday, September 27th. In order for these trips to be possible, adult chaperones are needed. The buses will depart DLR around 7:30 a.m. both days and return before the end of the school day. Chaperones are able to ride the buses with the students or simply meet DLR at the location. Scheduled times at the food bank are 9:30-11:30 a.m. If you are interested and available to help, please contact the DLR office at (815)732-5300 ext. 3900. The office will inform you of the paperwork that needs to be completed. Thank you for your support!
