Mandatory pre-participation drug testing for 6-12 students interested in participating in athletics for the 2019-20 school year will take place in the Blackhawk Center on the following dates/times:

  • August 1                 8:00 AM – 5:45 PM
  • August 8                 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM
  • August 15               3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

These require an appointment. Please call the Athletic Office at 815-732-5300 ext 4041 to schedule a test. Athletes will not be allowed to compete in games until this obligation is met.

The mandatory Freshman Athlete/New Athlete Night orientation for all incoming freshman or transfer students to OHS will be Thursday, August 8 at 6:30 PM in the Oregon High School Gym. This is required for any freshman or new athlete that plans on participating in athletics at any time during the 2019-20 school year. At least one parent/guardian must also attend. The event will be repeated on Wednesday night, August 14 for students/families that cannot attend on August 8.

Attention OHS Freshmen class of 2023
Please join us for a day of fun activities and get to know other students. Meet at OHS at 8:00. A bus will take you to Lorado Taft where you will do activities and lunch. You will return to OHS at 1:00 for a tour and other events at the high school until 3:00. This activity is student-developed and student-led. Your upperclassmen want the start of the school year to be AWESOME! Check your student email for more information.
