The Oregon High School chapter of National Honor Society has been very busy fulfilling service projects this year. First semester we collected non perishables for Lifeline and this semester our members collected Ramen Noodles and bar soap to be send to Forgotten Soldier’s Outreach for shipping to our overseas troops. All year they have been tutoring students at David L Rahn Junior High on Thursday mornings. Next on the docket is much needed support for our OES teachers as student helpers in their classrooms. This took a ton of planning to keep it organized and spaced out due to Covid regulations. NHS students will be supporting Oregon Elementary Students with reading, math facts, missing work, as well as activities and demos in P.E. NHS members are doing this in the morning during the week while they are not in attendance at school, but OES is, so kudos to them for taking time out of their schedule to help out! National Honor Society is advised by Ms. Leamanczyk.
