Dear Oregon CUSD 220 Community,
We would like to inform you of a vacancy on the Board of Education, which has arisen due to the resignation of an elected member. The term for this position will run through the April 2027 Board of Education Election.
Qualifications for the Board of Education Vacancy:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be a registered voter.
- Must have been a resident of Illinois and the district for at least one year prior to the appointment.
- Must have no conflicts of interest (e.g., employment or holding another elected office).
- Cannot have been convicted of an “infamous crime”, such as bribery, perjury, or other felony convictions that disqualify a person from holding public office.

Interview Process:
Those selected for an interview will be contacted to interview on the evening of April 22nd.
